    Arusha to Tarangire

    Tarangire National Park
    Drive south-west from Arusha to Tarangire (about 2½ hours). Spend the afternoon on a game drive along the river, where elephants, giraffe and lion gather beneath baobabs.

    Tarangire to Lake Manyara

    Lake Manyara National Park
    A morning game drive in Tarangire, then drive to Lake Manyara. Afternoon safari through groundwater forest and out to the alkaline lake shore.

    Lake Manyara to Arusha

    Arusha
    An optional early drive, then return to Arusha by early afternoon for onward travel.
